Summary:
This presentation will explore Linear Heat Detection and Aspirating Smoke Technology. Topics will include:

• Applications and installation practices for linear heat detection

• Overview of cloud chamber aspirating detection and the capabilities and applications of this technology, as well as how it compares to traditional aspirating smoke detection.

Presenter:
Stephen Miller is currently Southern Regional Sales Manager for Safe Fire Detection. He has worked at Safe Fire Detection for 7 years with various roles within the company including technical manager, production manager, customer service manager and general manager. Before working at Safe Fire Detection, Stephen worked in the Fire Alarm industry at Mammoth Fire Alarms in Lowell, Ma as the marketing and technical manager. Through his 23 years of fire alarm industry experience, he has collected factory certifications from Mircom, FCI, Notifier, King Fisher, Thermocable and Protec Air Sampling Detection. Stephen has also designed, or assisted in the design, for fire protection in projects such as Old North Church in Boston, Goodyear Tire Plants, Glad Manufacturing Plants and many Nuclear Plants located in the eastern part of the United States.
